A Las Vegas Helicopter Elopement and Night on the Strip

Janelle and Matthew’s wedding day started in one of the most unforgettable ways you can have in Las Vegas, soaring above the city in a helicopter before heading back down into the lights for a night that felt completely their own. After the ceremony, we built the rest of the night around two things they cared about most, keeping it easy and getting that classic Las Vegas feel.

Their first stop was the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign, where everything really started to settle in. It’s one of those places that instantly makes it feel real, and you could see it in the way they looked at each other. No rush, no pressure, just a moment to take it all in together.

From there, we headed over to the Las Vegas Strip, where the energy completely shifts. The Bellagio Fountains and Paris Las Vegas area gave us everything we needed, the glow of the lights, the movement of the city, and just enough space to let things unfold naturally.

As the night went on, it became less about posing and more about just letting them be themselves. Walking, stopping, laughing, and stealing quiet moments in the middle of all the noise around them.

The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas gave us that classic Vegas backdrop, and it worked perfectly with how relaxed they were by that point. Everything felt easy, and it shows in the way these images came together.

We kept moving through the area, finding different angles and pockets of light, letting the city do what it does best. The contrast between the busy Strip and the calm moments they had together is what really defines this part of the night.

By the end, it felt less like a planned photo session and more like just walking through Vegas together, taking it all in. That’s always the goal, keep it simple, keep it natural, and let the experience shape the photos.

Janelle and Matthew’s night is a perfect example of how a Las Vegas elopement can be anything you want it to be. Whether it starts in the sky or on the ground, it’s about building a day that fits you and letting the rest fall into place.
