A Relaxed Las Vegas Vow Renewal at A Sure Thing Wedding Chapel

Neil and Rebecca returned to Las Vegas 10 years after originally getting married here to renew their vows in a simple and meaningful way. With just the two of them and a few family members present, they chose A Sure Thing Wedding Chapel for an intimate afternoon ceremony followed by portraits around Downtown Las Vegas.

The day had a relaxed energy from the very beginning. Their ceremony was personal and emotional without feeling overly formal, and afterward we spent time exploring some of the colorful corners around the chapel for portraits that felt fun and natural.

Neil and Rebecca started their portraits inside the chapel in front of the glowing pink heart backdrop. The soft pink curtains and neon lighting gave the photos a classic Vegas feel while still keeping the focus completely on the two of them.

One of the things that makes A Sure Thing Wedding Chapel so unique for Las Vegas vow renewal photography is the variety of little photo spots hidden throughout the property. We spent some time inside the famous bathroom setup, which always gives couples a chance to loosen up and have fun with the session.

After finishing inside, we stepped outside the chapel and walked through the surrounding Downtown Las Vegas area. The vintage storefronts, neon signs, and old Vegas charm around the chapel create a completely different feel than the Las Vegas Strip and work perfectly for couples wanting something a little more relaxed and local.

The bright afternoon light and retro signage gave the session a fun Vegas energy without needing to travel far from the ceremony location. Neil and Rebecca were easygoing the entire afternoon, and the photos ended up feeling very natural and connected.

A Sure Thing Wedding Chapel continues to be one of my favorite locations for intimate Las Vegas weddings and vow renewals because it keeps the experience simple while still giving couples a lot of personality in their photos. Between the chapel interiors, the neon details, and the surrounding Downtown Las Vegas streets, it creates a great mix of classic and modern Vegas all in one location.

If you’re planning a Las Vegas vow renewal or intimate wedding and want photography that feels relaxed and natural while still capturing the energy of the city, I’d love to help you plan something that fits your style.
