A Dreamy Day at Stallion Mountain

Some weddings just feel like sunshine—Candida and Justin’s was one of them. After photographing their engagement session over a year ago, we had a feeling their wedding was going to be something special. These two have such an easy chemistry, always laughing, always looking at each other like they're in on some great inside joke. So when the big day finally arrived at Stallion Mountain Golf Club in Las Vegas, we couldn’t wait to capture every moment.

Candida started the day getting ready in a calm and cozy bridal suite. The second she slipped into her floral gown, everything just clicked. The soft pastel tones, the floaty sleeves, the way the fabric moved—it was giving dreamy desert goddess vibes in the best way possible. She paused for a quiet moment by the mirror, bouquet in hand, and you could just feel the happy nerves starting to bubble up.

Outside, the late afternoon sun was doing all the right things, casting a warm glow over the courtyard as Candida made her entrance. Her dress caught the breeze just perfectly, and it was one of those movie-scene moments—everyone turned to watch, and the look on Justin’s face when he saw her said everything.

The ceremony took place on Stallion Mountain’s signature outdoor terrace, framed by natural stone, mountain views, and that eye-catching circular arch. It’s one of our favorite spots in the city for a reason—it feels open and intimate all at once. The couple held hands, the officiant shared a few thoughtful words, and you could just feel how much love was packed into that little moment.

With their “I do’s” sealed and done, it was time for some portraits. This is always one of our favorite parts—when the pressure is off, the nerves settle, and the couple can just enjoy each other. Candida and Justin were naturals. Whether they were wrapped up in a hug, goofing off, or just strolling hand-in-hand around the grounds, they brought such a calm, real energy to the shoot. No posing needed—just vibes.

And can we talk about the backdrop again? The Spring Mountains out in the distance, the soft blue sky, the desert greenery—it all came together to show off just how stunning Las Vegas can be beyond the Strip. Stallion Mountain has that perfect mix of elegance and easygoing desert charm, and it gave us so much space to explore with Candida and Justin.

From the first moment of getting ready to the last few hugs on the lawn, this day was relaxed, full of love, and genuinely fun. It was exactly the kind of celebration that shows why we’re obsessed with small weddings and elopements. No stress, just beautiful moments, amazing light, and two people who are absolutely meant to be.

Candida and Justin—thank you for letting us be a part of your day (and for being down to explore every inch of that golf course with us). We loved every second.
