Rainy Day Adventure: Valley of Fire and Bellagio Elopement in Las Vegas
Las Vegas has a way of making every wedding day memorable, even when the weather decides to add a little drama. Cory and Nicole embraced it all with laughter and warmth, turning their elopement into an adventure that blended the wild red rocks of Valley of Fire with the glowing lights of the Strip.
Our afternoon started just outside the city at Valley of Fire State Park, one of Nevada’s most breathtaking landscapes for intimate wedding photography. The sky filled with moody clouds that made the red sandstone pop even more. Nicole’s champagne-colored dress sparkled against the desert backdrop while Cory kept things cool and classic with jeans, a tie, and a bright red rose on his shirt.
Even with a bit of rain rolling in, these two were all smiles. They laughed through the wind, shared quiet moments between raindrops, and made the most of every second before we headed back toward the city lights.
Once we reached the Strip, the evening took on a completely different vibe. The Paris Las Vegas lights reflected off the wet sidewalks, creating the perfect glow for their night portraits.
The mix of desert adventure and city romance made Cory and Nicole’s elopement uniquely Las Vegas—natural, spontaneous, and full of joy. From red rock formations to the reflections of the Bellagio fountains, their day was proof that even a little rain can lead to something truly beautiful.
